Herbal Extract Centrifugal Spray Dryer 80kg/h 95 Percent Powder Recovery

Chinese medicine extract and plant extract are the hardest feeds a spray dryer faces: high viscosity, high sugar content, strong hygroscopicity and a tendency to stick on a hot wall and scorch. The ZPG series herbal extract centrifugal spray dryer was designed around that problem. A three stage air purification train brings the inlet air to a clean room grade, a cooling wall keeps the tower shell below 80 °C so the deposit on the wall never carbonizes, and an air sweep device continuously wipes the inner surface, so the powder leaves the tower light in colour and fully soluble instead of brown and burnt.

1. Traditional Chinese medicine extract, single herb concentrate and compound formula concentrate with high sugar or polysaccharide content.
2. Plant extract such as stevia, ginkgo, tea polyphenol and grape seed extract requiring colour retention.
3. Natural pigment and dye liquid that discolours above 90 °C.
4. Enzyme and probiotic fermentation broth where activity must survive the drying step.

Why does the powder no longer turn brown? Can the same machine run several herbal formulas? Yes. The quick opening tower, the water wash ring and the recipe memory of the control system allow a product change within one shift, which is the normal pattern in a multi formula extract plant.
