A tablet line that runs five products in a week cannot afford to clean a fixed blender between every batch. Does the product really need no cleaning between batches? Between different products, no: each product uses its own bin, which is washed separately. The automatic bin blender itself only contacts the bin exterior, so cleaning is limited to the clamp and the drive, a matter of minutes.

Can the bin feed a tablet press directly? Yes. With a butterfly valve and a discharge station the bin can be placed on the press, so the blend goes from the automatic bin blender to the press without any intermediate container or manual handling.
